APPLY FOR A GRANT
The Waterloo Schools Foundation champions teachers and students by encouraging, promoting, and funding teaching strategies and learning opportunities that grow academic excellence in all Waterloo public schools. We want educators and students to bring us their next big idea, whether it's in the classroom, their grade level, their building, or the district.
Our Foundation grant application is open to all students, educators, and employees within the Waterloo public schools. Grant applications are reviewed by our Academic Allocations Committee composed of community members, select board members, and retired educators. The highest-scored applications are presented for approval to our Board of Directors during bi-monthly meetings beginning in September.
The WSF typically does NOT fund technology requests, facility upgrades, or individual staff professional development. Please reach out to the respective departments within the District for these requests.

Applications are open October 1 - November 1, December 1 - January 1, February 1 - March 1, and April 1 - May 1
Any requests submitted outside these cycles will be reviewed after the FOLLOWING cycle.
