our values
The Foundation’s mission is to “fund, inspire, and promote educational opportunities for all in the Waterloo Schools”. Our organization is focusing on funding five key areas within the Waterloo Community School District when awarding grants.
LONGEVITY
We seek funding opportunities that will have lasting impacts on students, staff, and the Waterloo community. We are proud to say that all our funding promotes longevity, there are specific opportunities that have provided a life-long impact on WCSD students and staff.

The WSF understands that the impact of historic inequities has led to varying access to the opportunity for academic success. Through DEIB practices, we aim to support initiatives that uplift diverse voices and provide equitable access for students and staff in the Waterloo Schools. We strive to have all students and staff feel valued and proud to be in the WCSD.
