The Waterloo Schools Foundation has bi-monthly grant cycles for Waterloo Schools students and staff throughout the school year. This school year, they’ve gifted $37,000+ through their grant cycles and over $2.5 million since 2012.
In this third grant cycle of the 2023 - 2024 school year, the Waterloo Schools Foundation is funding the following projects and experiences, totaling $4,500.00:
Stacy Childs, Highland Elementary - Highland Bobcat Mascot
Trice Scott, Central Middle School - Journey to NYLF Explore STEM in Los Angeles
Kylee Wilson, East High School - Extended Core Grocery Store Simulator & Workstations
These grants will be funded through private donors and the Waterloo Schools Foundation’s grant cycle funds.
The Waterloo Schools Foundation’s next grant cycle opens on February 1st and closes on March 1st with grant recipients announced mid-March.
