$100,000 to establish the M. Lybbert Endowment for Teacher workshops

The Waterloo Schools Foundation is honored to announce a transformative $100,000 estate gift from the late Marguerite Lybbert, a dedicated educator who taught in the Waterloo Community School District for more than 30 years.

This generous contribution will establish the M. Lybbert Endowment, a lasting fund that will provide ongoing support for workshops and seminars for lower elementary teachers. Through this endowment, Mrs. Lybbert’s lifelong passion for education will continue to inspire and strengthen classrooms across all 11 Waterloo elementary schools for generations to come.
